1. Introduction
At International Prosafety Academy, we believe that assessment is not just about awarding marks – it is an integral part of the learning journey. Our Assessment & Examination Policy is designed to be transparent, fair, and comprehensive. It evaluates not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills and real-world application.

3. Grading System
Our grading system is clearly defined and communicated to students at the start of each course.
General Criteria:
- Theory exams: Weightage varies by course (typically 40-60%)
- Practical assessments: Weightage varies by course (typically 30-50%)
- Assignments and quizzes: Balance of remaining weightage
Passing Criteria:
- Minimum overall marks required: Typically 40-50% (varies by course)
- Professional certification courses may require 60-70%
Students receive detailed breakdowns of their marks, including theory, practical, and assignment scores.

- One re-sit opportunity is generally allowed in the next available session.
- Re-sit fees may apply and vary by course.
- The syllabus and exam pattern remain the same for the re-sit.
- If the student fails the re-sit, the case is assessed individually. Options may include counseling or repeating the course in the next batch.
7. Results Declaration
Results are normally declared within ten to fifteen working days of the exam. Students are notified via:
- Academy’s official website or student portal
- Email and SMS alerts
Each result includes a detailed breakdown of marks and grades. Students may request to review their answer sheets within a specified timeline. Any discrepancies can be addressed through our Learner Complaints & Appeals Policy.

10. External Invigilation and Internal Moderation
We maintain transparency in our assessment process through:
